Personal Notes:
Sangria was a favorite aperitif at many relaxed Rivers family gatherings, especially on the Holidays. Mom would add sliced fresh fruit and a little sugar to red Spanish Tinto' wine in a big pitcher. To add a Caribbean taste to this Sangria recipe, use a dark flavorful rum in the punch. Salud and Happy Days!
