2 lbs. Pork loin, cubed
6 T Soy sauce
1 C water
1 Lg. bunch celery, 1/2 " pieces
1 Med. onion, chopped
2 T Corn starch
1/4 C water
1- 10 1/2 oz. water chestnuts, sliced
1 Can bean sprouts
1 Can mushrooms
Salt & Pepper to taste

- In a large pan, brown meat in oil; add soy sauce and water - simmer 2 minutes.
- Add celery and onions - simmer 1 1/2 hours.
- Make a paste with corn starch and water and add to meat mixture.
- Add chestnuts, bean sprouts and mushrooms - cook slowly until heated through - Season to taste.
- Serve with cooked rice or show mein noodles.

When adding the water and soy sauce, I usually use 1 1/2 cups of water and 12 tablespoons of soy sauce.
