Chocolate Meringue Pie Recipe

1 1/4 Cups Sugar
Dash Salt
2 TBSP. Cocoa
3 TBSP. Flour
1 Cup Milk
3 Egg Yolks, Beaten
3 TBSP. Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
3 Egg Whites
1 tsp. Cold Water
Dash of Salt
6 TBSP. Sugar
1 Cooked pie Shell

Mix first 4 ingredients together in a heavy saucepan. Add milk and stir. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly, and cook for 5 minutes, or until the mixture thickens to a pudding like consistency. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in vanilla. Pour into cooled pie shell.
Meringue: Beat the reserved egg whites with salt, and cold water until frothy. Start adding sugar, 1 TBSP. at a time until all sugar has been used. Beat untl soft peaks form. Preheat oven to 350. Bake about 5 minutes or until lightly browned on top.
