-6 Quarts of water 2 lb of yellow peas
2 large potatoes (1"dice peel)
6 large carrots (diced)
1 large onion (diced)
2 lb ham from left over ham bone
1 ham bone

Directions:
Directions:
1. cover ham bone in water in a large stock pot. boil for one hour on a low simmer, remove bone. 2. add peas and simmer on low for 20 min. 3. add black pepper and vegetables simmer for 30 more min. 4. soup should come to a thick consistency.
