2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup butter softened
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 package [3 1/2 ounces] instant vanilla pudding
2 eggs
1 package semisweet choc. chips
1 cup chopped walnuts, optional.

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour and baking soda; set aside. Combine butter, sugar, vanilla and pudding mix in large mixing bowl;beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs; gradually add flour mixture. Stir in choc chips and nuts [batter will be stiff]. Drop by heaping tsp.onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350* for 10 minutes or until brown.

I like to make the dough and chill it or freeze. I also take them out when lightly brown and puffy and slightly cool on cookie sheet they get chewy.
