1/2 c onion chopped
1/2 c butter
3 c chicken broth
2 c wild and brown rice
1 c diced carrots
1/3 c sherry
1/2 c chopped celery
3/4 c flour
1 c water
1 lb ham, cubed
1 1/4 tsp curry
1 c milk

Directions:
Directions:
In stockpot cook celery, carrots and onion in chicken broth until tender; add ham, curry, and sherry. In saucepan melt butter and add flour until mixed. Slowly add the milk and 1 c water to make a creamy paste. Add this to stockpot along with rice. Cook about 30 minutes until rice is tender.
