1 lb. lg. raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1 Dry spice mix (see below or dry Cajun spice)
2 tsp. olive oil
1/4 c. unsalted butter
1-1/2 T. garlic (minced)
1 T. capers (crushed)
1/2 c. dry white wine
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
1/2 lb. cooked linguini
3-4 T. fresh parsley leaves (chopped)

Dry spice mix includes -
2-1/2 T. paprika
2 T. salt
2 T. garlic powder
1 T. black pepper

Toss the shrimp in a medium bowl with Dry spice mix. Put olive oil and 2 T. butter in large skillet over high heat. Add the shrimp and spread them out evenly in the skillet. Cook for 2 minutes and quickly turn the shrimp. Add the garlic and capers to the pan and cook for 30 seconds. Add the wine, lemon juice and remaining 2 T. butter and cook for 1-1/2 minutes. Season the shrimp with the salt and pepper and add pasta, tossing to coat well. Remove the skillit from the heat and stir in the parsley. Serve hot.
