1/2 lb. ground pork or sausage,
1/2 lb. ground lean beef,
3 spring/green onions, chopped,
1 clove pressed garlic,
1 can diced tomatoes (or 4 peeled fresh tomatoes).
3/4 C. or 4 oz. jar pimentos
3/4 C. slivered almonds/ 6 oz. pkg.
1 -6 oz tomato paste
2 chopped jalapeņo peppers, 3/4 C. raisins,
1 tsp. oregano, 2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. pepper +1 tsp.. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat and onions in a skillet, drain off fat. Add other ingredients, simmer 2 hrs.
Serve in a 1 qt. casserole or deep crock that can be kept hot.
