2 CUPS SUGAR
1 TSP CINNAMON
1 STICK MARGARINE
1/2 CUP CRISCO
4 TLB. COCOA
1 CUP WATER
1/2 CUP BUTTERMILK
1 TSP BAKING SODA
2 EGGS, SLIGHTLY BEATEN
1 TSP VANILLA

ICING:

1 STICK MARGARINE
3 TBL COCOA
6 TBL MILK
1 BOX POWDERED SUGAR
1 C. NUTS (OPTIONAL)

Sift into large bowl: flour and sugar.

Combine in saucepan: margarine,crisco,cocoa and water. Stir and bring this to a rapid boil. Pour over dry ingredients and stir well.

Add: buttermilk,baking soda,eggs and vanilla. Mix well and pour into greased and lightly flour jelly roll pan (10-1/2x15x1). Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees.

ICING: Start as soon as cake comes out of oven or 5 minutes before cake is finished baking. Mix and bring to boil: margarine,cocoa and milk. After it comes to a boil, add a 1 lb box of powdered sugar and vanilla and nuts(opt). Mix well and spread on cake while it is still hot.
