2 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 pint sour cream
1 cup chopped nuts
1 1/2 cup margarine
3 eggs
6 T. brown sugar
3/4 sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
cream margarine, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. add eggs (one at a time) beating after each addition, sift flour, baking soda together. add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream blending after each addition. spread half of batter in 10 inch tube pan that has been greased. cream butter, brown sugar and cinnamon together. add nuts and mix well. spread on half of nut mixture. cover with remaining batter. dot with remaining nut mixture. oven - 350 degrees for 50 minutes. cool cake for 10 minutes and remove from pan.

This is a really old recipe that Mom/Grandma used to make ... in fact it called for oleo (instead of margarine)! This was always one of my favorites!
