1 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1 t soda
1 t cinnamon
1 t allspice
1/2 cup butter or oleo
1 cup sugar
3 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup milk
2 cups uncooked rolled oats
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, soda, and spices; sift twice. Cream butter/oleo, gradually add sugar and cream until light and fluffy. Add the beaten eggs to the creamed mixture and stir in the oats and milk. Sift the flour over the dates, coconut and nuts and mix well. Stir into oatmeal mixture, mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoon full onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
