2 lb. hamburger
2 onions - diced
2 hot red peppers
3 cans tomato paste
3 cups water
salt & pepper

Brown onion and pepper first. Then hamburger. Add paste and water. Simmer 2-3 hours. Add additional water if needed.

Mary Brown was my Grandma's hairdresser and lived across the street. We used to play with her son Pat. My cousin, Beth Ann always called him "Pat Picnic". There's a story behind that, but I can't remember it.
