30 Oreos, crushed
1/4 c butter or margarine, melted
1/2 gallon mint chocolate chip ice cream, softened
1 15 ounce can evaporated milk
1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 ounce unsweetened chocolate
1 T butter or margarine
12 ounce whipped topping
1 c chopped pecans

Directions:

Combine cookies and 1/4 c. butter. Press into lightly greased 13x9 pan and freeze.

Spread ice cream evenly over crust and freeze until firm.

Combine evaporated, milk and next 3 ingredients in a small heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly with a wire whisk, then cook 3 to 4 minutes or until mixture thickens. Cool to room temperature.

Spread chocolate mixture over ice cream; top with whipped topping and sprinkle with pecans. Freeze until firm.

Let stand 10 minutes at room temperature and cut into squares for serving.
