7 cups cubed day-old french bread
1/4 cup melted butter
8 eggs, lightly beaten
2½ cups milk
1 tsp dijon mustard
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
¼ tsp pepper
1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and drained
1½ cups shredded cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Place bread cubes in a greased 13x9 inch baking dish. Drizzle with butter. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, milk, mustard, and seasonings. Mix well and pour over bread. Crumble sausage over top; sprinkle with cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove for 30 minutes before baking. Bake uncovered at 325º for one hour or until a knife inserted near the middle comes out clean.
