2 c. brown sugar
1 3/4 c. flour
2 eggs
1 lb brazil nuts (before shelling)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored. Add sugar gradually beating it in well. Add salt and vanilla. Hull and grind nuts coarsely. Sift flour measure and resift with baking powder. Add nuts to flour mixture (nuts should be coarsely ground). Stir gently to mix well. Chill one to two hours. Roll out in hands to form stick like pieces. Bake in a moderate oven of 350º for about 12 to 15 minutes or until delicately brown.
