1 1/4 c graham cracker crumbs
1/4 c light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/3 c butter, melted
Filling;
2 (14 oz) cans sweetened condensed milk
1 c fresh key line juice
2 egg whites
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
2 tbsp sugar
Lime slices for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Crust; Combine first 3 ingredients. Press into a 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes; cool.
Filling; Stir together milk and lime juice until blended. Pour into crust. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar at high speed with an electric mixer just until foamy. Add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until soft peaks form and sugar dissolves, 2 to 4 minutes. Spread meringue over filling and bake at 325º for 25 to 28 minutes. Chill 8 hours. Garnish, if desired.
