2 sticks butter
3/4 c. pure cane sugar
3/4 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 t salt
2 c. (12oz pkg) Nestles Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (can
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
substitute mini M&M's)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat at medium speed until creamy smooth.

Combine flour, salt and baking soda in a seperate bowl. Add flour mixture slowly. Mix well. Add chips and nuts, if desired.

Using 2 teaspoons, drop cookies onto cookie sheet spacing 2" - 3" apart. (16 to 20 cookies per sheet.)

Baked at 375º for 9 to 11 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes and move to cooling rack or plate to cool completely before packaging.
