1 pkg. (18.25 oz.) Duncan Hines Devil's Food Cake Mix ( or your favorite chocolate cake mix)
1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
3 large eggs
1 t. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º F. Lightly mist a 9X13 inch baking pan with vegetable oil spray.

Place cake mix, cherry pie filling, eggs and extract in a large mixing bowl. Blend with an electric mixer on low speed for 1 minute. Stop the machine and scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula. Increase the mixer speed to medium and beat 2 minutes more.The batter should look thick and well blended. Pour batter into prepared pan, smoothing top.
Bake in the preheated oven about 30-35 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly pressed with your finger and just starts to pull away from the sides of the pan.

Remove from oven and place on a wire rack while you prepare the Ganache.
