2¼ c. all purpose flour
¾ tsp. Salt
⅔ c. shortening
8 to 10 tbsp. Cold water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Stir together flour and salt.
2. Using a pastry blender, cut in shortening until pieces are pea-size.
3. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of water over part of flour mixture; gently toss with a fork.
4. Repeat, using 1 tablespoon water at a time, until flour mixture is moistened.
5. Divide and roll dough between two pieces of wax paper, into a circle.
6. Ease pastry into pie pan.
