2 C butter
2 C granulated sugar
1 t vanilla extract
4 C flour
2 t baking powder
1 8oz grated milk chocolate candy bar (ie- Hershey bar)
3 C nuts (optional)
2 C brown sugar
4 eggs
5 C original oatmeal (measure and blend in a blender to a fine powder)
1 t salt
2 t baking soda
23 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream (mix) together butter and sugars. Add eggs, and vanilla and beat until blended. Combine oatmeal, flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and gently stir into butter mixture. Stir in grated chocolate, chocolate chips, nuts. Refrigerate dough for 30 min. Roll into balls and place 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 6 minutes.
