Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 small (1lb.) package of dry black eye peas
1 small ham hock or 2 packages GOYA ham seasoning
Water
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Place peas in a large pot and cover with warm water. You will want to completely cover the peas with water and have about and extra 2 or 3 inches of water on top of the peas. Allow peas to soak over night. When you are ready to cook place pot with peas and water on the stove and bring to a boil. You may need to add a little more water because you want to make sure the peas are completely covered. Add seasonings and cook until tender. Probably a couple of hours.
