6 Eggs
5 c. of sugar
1 1/2 lb. of butter or oleo
5 Lemons (6 if small)

Directions:
Directions:
Grate rind off lemons (you should get about 1 1/4 c. of juice from lemons). (Discard pulp). Mix the sugar, butter, lemon juice and rind in a pan. Start heating.
Put the eggs in a bowl a whisk briskly. Slowly add the whisk eggs to mixture, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 min.
Pour into jars. Makes 4 or 5 pints.

Serve on toast, or bagels with cream cheese, or you can also use this as an appetizer dip with pretzels sticks.
