2 tablespoons cocoa
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups oatmeal
1 stick of butter
2/3 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and mix cocoa well. Add remaining ingredients. Pack in a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake in hot oven at 425 degrees for about 12 minutes. Watch carefully and do not burn. It burns fairly easy. I have experienced that a few times.

Let cool slightly before cutting into squares.
