1 c persimmons peeled and cut up
1 c sugar
1 egg
3 tbsp melted butter
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 c milk

Directions:

Mix in order given and steam in well greased double boiler. Serve warm topped with cold whipped cream.
