2 cups flour
½ tsp salt
2 tsps soda
½ tsp cloves
½ tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
¾ cup margarine
1-cup sugar
1 egg
¼ cup molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together margarine and sugar; add egg. Mix well. Add molasses, mix again. Sift together remaining ingredients; add to margarine-sugar mixture. Roll dough into on-inch balls; roll each ball in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in 350 degree oven 15 minutes or until brown.
