4 squares BAKER'S Premium White Baking Chocolate
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract
2/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup chopped PLANTERS Slivered Almonds

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Line 9-inch square baking pan with foil, with ends of foil extending beyond sides of pan; grease foil.
MICROWAVE chocolate and butter in large microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Add sugar; mix well. Blend in eggs and almond extract. Add flour, baking powder and salt; mix well. Stir in almonds. Spread into prepared pan.
BAKE 30 to 35 minutes or toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack. Lift out of pan onto cutting board, using foil handles. Cut into 16 bars.
