3/4 c. crisco (or use half butter, half crisco)
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cream crisco and sugar together. Add molasses and egg. Sift dry ingedients together and slowly add to mixture. Drop by spoonful into a bowl of sugar. Bake 8 to 10 min. on greased cookie sheet at 350º.
