5 - 10 lbs. Potatoes
1 qt. Half & Half
1-2 lbs. Bacon - cut in 1" - 2" pieces
1 Onion
2 - 3 Carrots
1/3 - 1/2 cube Margarine
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and cube potatoes.
Put in pan and barely cover with water.
Add chopped onion.
Salt and pepper.
Bring to boil and cook.
When potatoes are half cooked add grated carrots and finish cooking.

While potatoes are cooking; Cook bacon and drain then add to the potatoes.

After potatoes are cooked add a little bacon grease (for flavor) also add margarine, then add about 1 quart of half and half (depending on how thick you want your soup) Let simmer a bit for full flavor.
