Ingredients: Have a variety of ingredients available to add to an omelet. Here are some suggestions:
Onions Tomatoes Mushrooms Green or black olives Red or green peppers Shredded cheddar or swiss cheeses Salsa Crumbled bacon Diced ham Salt and pepper Small amt. of milk for each omelet Eggs

Directions: |
Directions:For each individual omelet whip up 2 eggs in a small bowl and then add whichever ingredients you prefer. Pour the individual mixtures into quart size freezer bags and seal, taking care to get all of the air out. I recommend hanging the bag over the edge of your counter and squeeze the air out before sealing. (The name of the person should be written on the bag with a ball point pen prior to filling.) Drop all the omelet bags into a pot of boiling water at the same time and put a lid on the pot. Boil for 15 min. Remove and slip each omelet from the bag. The omelet will resemble the shape of a burrito. ENJOY!! |

Notes: As crazy as this recipe sounds, believe me it works. I have had several large pots of boiling water ready and have served omelets for up to 16 members of our family all at the same time, while having lots of laughs. It is truly a "do it yourself" project. The kids can participate in the "cooking" and think it's great!
