Cake:
1 box yellow cake mix
1 small (3.5 oz) package instant vanilla pudding
3/4 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 - 11 oz can mandarin oranges in juice - undrained

Pineapple Icing
1 - 14 oz can crushed pineapple in juice - undrained
1 - small (3.5 oz) package of instant vanilla pudding
1 - 12 oz carton Cool Whip
Dash of salt

Directions:

Grease and flour 9 X 13 pan.

In a large mixing bowl, add first four ingredients and juice from mandarin oranges and mix on medium speed for 2 minutes. Add oranges and mix for about 15 seconds. (This breaks up the oranges, so mix until the pieces are the size you like. If you want them whole, fold in with a spoon.)

See yellow cake mix for baking directions.

Then make icing:
Mix together pineapple, salt, and pudding mix. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread evenly over cooled cake.

Store in refrigerator.
