Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups milk
1 cup sugar
2 envelopes Knox gelatin (unflavored)
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups sour cream
5 - 3 ounce packages of different flavors/colors
Jell-O (suggestions: orange, lime, lemon, cherry, grape, raspberry, cranberry, etc.)

Directions:

Read Notes below before beginning.

White Layer Mixture (make first)
Pour gelatin into 1 cup of cold water, dissolve and set aside. Bring milk and sugar to a boil in a generous sized pan. (Watch because it will boil over very quickly, if you are not watchful!) Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and gelatin water mixture. Cool to lukewarm, then add sour cream and stir until well blended

Mix 1 package Jell-O with 1 cup boiling water and pour in X glass pan. Refrigerate until set, being sure the pan is level. Mix next package Jell-O with 1 cup boiling water and set aside to cool. When first layer is set add 1¼ cup of white mixture to pan and allow to set. Keep doing this until all Jell-O is used.

Notes:
Use a glass pan so you can see all layers and keep them level.
ALWAYS have one Jell-O made while the previous one is setting.
"Set" means it looks like Jell-O.
Takes a long time since each layer has to set before adding the next.
Start with Jell-O and end with Jell-O with white layer between each colored layer.
Each layer must set before adding the next layer.
Once you begin you must finish!
