1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 lb. sweet Italian sausage links, casings removed, crumbled
1/4 tsp crushed dried red pepper flakes
1/4 c. diced onions
1 1/2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (14.5 oz.) can of Italian plum tomatoes, drained, coarsely chopped
3/4 c. whipping cream
1/4 tsp. salt
6 oz. pasta
1 1/2 tbsp minced parsley
grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Heat oil in heavy skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and crushed red pepper. Cook until sausage is no longer pink, stirring frequently, about 7 minutes. Add tomatoes, cream and salt. Simmer until mixture thickens slightly, about 4 minutes.
(The above can be prepared one day ahead. Cover and chill.)
Cook pasta in large pot of boiling water, drain.
Bring sauce to a simmer.
Add pasta to sauce and cook until pasta is heated through and sauce thickens, stirring occasionally, about 2 minutes.
On each serving, sprinkly parsley and Parmesean cheese.
