2 10-ounce New York Strip Steaks
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup dry sherry (not cooking sherry)
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Combine marinade ingredients and pour into shallow baking dish or large zippered plastic bag. Pierce steaks several times with knife and add to marinade. Marinate for 1 hour prior to grilling.
