18 soda crackers, crushed finely
12 dates, chopped
1 c sugar
3 egg whites
1/4 t baking powder
1/2 c pecans, chopped
1 t almond flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix crackers, dates, and sugar, and set aside. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add flavoring and baking powder. Fold in pecans, and stir in date mixture. Put in 9" crustless pie pan and bake at 400º for 15-20 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.
