1 1/2 lb Ground Meat
1 Egg, Slightly Beaten
1 c Soft Bread Crumbs
1/4 c Milk
2 T Dry Onion Soup Mix
dash Pepper
1 T Salad Oil
1 can Tomatoes
1/4 c Cold Water
2 T All Purpose Flour
1 T Beef-Flavored Gravy Base
1 1/2 c Carrots, sliced lengthwise then cut into thirds
1 medium Onion, quartered
1 c Celery, chunks
2 Potatoes, cubed

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly combine meat, egg, bread crumbs, milk, soup mix, and pepper.
Shape into 8 -10 meat balls. Brown lightly in hot oil in large skillet.
Remove meat balls and drain off excess fat; add tomatoes. Blend water,
flour, and gravy base; stir into tomatoes. Cook until mix thickens and
bubbles. Add meat balls, carrots, onions, and celery. Cover; simmer 15
minutes. Pour into 2 quart casserole dish. Cover and bake at 350° for 1
hour or until vegetables are tender.
