2/3 c sugar
2 c & 2 Tbs all purpose flour
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. almond extract
decorative sparkling sugar

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Cream butter & sugar until fluffy; add extracts. Mix in flour in small increments. Form into ball, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Roll dough into small balls and then into logs (approx. 2 inches in length) and put on parchment lined cookie sheets. With tines of fork, flatten out logs and sprinkle with sparkling sugar. Bake until golden brown, 10-12 minutes. Sometimes I dip one end of the cookie in chocolate. Enjoy!
