8 slices of deer meat
1/2 c. celery
1 small beet
1 parsnip
1 leek (just the bottom, not the green)
3 tbsp. whole cranberries (uncooked)
2 large carrots
1 medium onion

Directions:
Directions:
Chop onion and slightly saute in a little oil. Add meat and beef broth to slightly cover. Simmer until meat is tender - try with a fork. Add 3 tbsp. of cranberries, 1/8 liter of dry red wine and simmer for 5 minutes. Take out meat and set aside. Put remaining ingredients in food processor and process until smooth. Pour over meat.
Serve with cranberry sauce and homemade or bought hushpuppies.
