Hot and Sour Soup Recipe

4 c. water
1/2 lb. tofu, slivered
2 c. cabbage, thinly sliced
2 vegetable bouillon cubes (can use beef or chicken)
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. white vinegar
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
3 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
Green onions for garnish
Chinese sesame seed oil (optional)

Bring water to a boil. Add tofu, cabbage, bouillon cubes, salt and soy sauce and simmer together for 3 minutes. Add vinegar and cayenne pepper and bring back to a boil. Dissolve conrstarch in 3 tbsp. water. Stir the dissolved mixture into the soup. Serve garnished with chopped green onions and 2 teaspoons Chinese sesame seed oil.
