No real measurements.

Score one side of flank steak, sprinkle with coarse black pepper or fresh ground pepper, salt, and minced garlic (I use about 2 tablespoons of jarred minced garlic on each side) on steak. Rub it in to the steak. I season both sides.

Directions:
Now you can cook on a grill or a griddle. I use a griddle. Coat griddle with olive oil and heat well. Throw steak on it with scored side down first. Baste with Balsamic vinegar while cooking. This acts as a tenderizer. Cook for 6 to 10 minutes on each side.

If you use a grill, I use an Olive oil Spray, and spray it directly on the steak before grilling.

When done enough for you, let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. Thinly slice across the grain. Drizzle with lemon juice.
