2 boxes small or 1 large box Peach Jello
1 c. boiling water
1 No. 2 can crushed pineapple (20 oz.)
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 medium Cool Whip
Chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Add jello to hot water. Cool. Add pineapple and juice. Add buttermilk. Blend well. Fold in Cool Whip and pecans (if desired) I like this salad frozen but some members of my family prefer it as a jelled salad, unfrozen.

A good friend gave me this recipe in 1983. I serve it often, especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas. You won't taste the buttermilk, honest!
