1 TBS dark sesame oil
1 bunch medium asparagus, cut into 1 1/2 inch lengths
8 oz. fresh shiitake mushrooms, sliced 1/2 inch thick
1 TBS sesame seeds, toasted
Salt and pepper
Soy sauce, to taste

Directions:

Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add asparagus and mushrooms and saute until just tender, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and season with salt and pepper. I also add soy sauce to taste. Serve hot.
