2 1/4 c. water
4 tbsp. instant coffee
4 c. sugar
1 c. of brandy
1 vanilla bean

Directions:
Bring water to a full boil. Add coffee and reduce heat to low. Add sugar slowly, don't boil! Let cool then skim. Add brandy and stir. Pour into wine jug, add vanilla bean. Cap and let sit for 1 month.
