4 c. diced apples
2 c. sugar
1 c. Wesson or Crisco Oil
2 eggs
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. sifted flour
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. raisins (floured)
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Put sugar over apples & let stand for an hour. Then add rest of ingredients. Beat by hand and bake at 350º in greased and floured tube loaf pan for one hour.
