1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 bananas, mashed
2 eggs
3 tablespoons butter milk
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups flour, sifted
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Cream the sugar, butter and salt. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased loaf pan an bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

Bumba use to love to cook banana bread and she always used this recipe. Mine never tasted as good as hers and I always followed the recipe exactly. She just had that magic touch I guess. I could never make cornbread like her either.
