1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. butter, 1 can crushed pineapple, 1 egg, 1 cup chopped walnuts, 1 lg. red jello, 45 graham cracker squares

Mix jello as stated on box. Let jello partially thicken (about 45 minutes in the frig). Cream sugar & butter in a bowl. Seperate egg, drain pineapple, and chop nuts, and beat egg white. Mix beaten egg yolk, pineapple and nuts together with sugar and butter, and mix well. Fold in stiffly beaten egg white. Layer bottom of 9 x 13 dish with graham crackers, then nut / pineapple mixture, repeat until mixture is gone. Pour jello over the top and chill for 12 hours.
