1 c sugar
1c apples diced
1 c chopped nuts
1 egg
3/4 c plain flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla flavoring.

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg, add sugar gradually then vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder & salt together then add to mixture and mix well. Fold in apples & nuts. Pour into a generously buttered 9 inch pie pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
