2 tbsp salad oil
1 lb sirloin top steak, sliced in strips 1/4" thick
1/3 c soy sauce
1/3 c water
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp Msg
2 c celery - 1 inch bias cut
2 c green onions, bias cut
1 green pepper, cut in 1/4 " strips
2 - 5-oz c water chestnuts, drained & sliced
1 6-oz c sliced mushrooms

Heat 12" skiillet. Add salad oil, beef and cook briskly, turning one or two minutes until brown. Pour soy sauce, water over top and add sugar and Msg bring to boil. Add celery, onions and peppers. Cook and stir over high heat about 3 minutes or until vegetables are crisply cooked. Add water chestnuts and mushrooms and cook 2 more minutes. Can add 1 tsp corn starch mixed with a little water as thickener.
