1-1/2 c. un-cooked rice
2 (10.5 oz) cans cream of shrimp soup
1/2 c. mayo
1 small onion, grated
3/4 c. milk
2 tbsp. Morton’s Seasoning Salt (or your brand)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (a little of this goes a long way)
1/2 tsp. bay leaf (they have it crushed in the spice section in HEB)
3 lbs. shrimp, cleaned & cooked (I use one medium-size bag from Sam’s)
1 (7.5 oz.) can crab meat (optional)
1 can chestnuts (I use diced)
1-1/2 cup diced celery
3 tbsp. minced parsley

Almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rice according to package directions. Blend soup and mayo; add onion and milk. Stir all seasoning into mixture, except paprika. Add all other ingredients. Place in a shallow baking dish, garnish with paprika and sliced almonds. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.
