2 lbs (8 cups) whole fresh cranberries, coarsely chopped
4 cups peeled, quartered and cored medium apples, coarsely chopped
3 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups orange marmalade (need more than one jar)
2 cups coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans, toasted
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use (at least overnight). Serve in hollowed-out orange halves if desired. The relish keeps indefinitely in the refrigerator.

This was a recipe Heidi had that she had marked "Absolutely Superb". We make this during the holiday season, with the boys helping me chop the 2 bags of cranberries. We have it with our turkey meal, and then Andy, Tina and I keep eating it alone the following days until it is gone.
