Stew:
2 qt. home canned tomatoes
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar

Dumplings:
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 tsp. Crisco

Directions:
Directions:
Mix stew ingredients and bring to boil.

Dumplings: Mix flour, baking powder, salt and Crisco. Add enough water to make fairly stiff dough. Roll out thin, cut in strips. Roll each piece in flour, drop in boiling tomatoes. Cover cook 15 min. on low.
